Can I use satellite observations in publication or news articles?

Yes you can. The datasets of the Tarkka service are openly available and subject to the Creative Commons By 4.0 International license more information on Syke’s website.

Please note, however, that published images must always be accompanied by the appropriate citation, or license text. The text of the license contains a reference to the satellite instrument used and that this is material produced by Syke. The licenses are described in more detail on the wiki’s page License information. Please contact our support service if you are not sure what kind of text should be used eotuki@syke.fi.
