What’s up
What’s up? is the front page of the Tarkka service, which contains current topics and interesting observations with short descriptions. The current topics are presented in figure 1 under the Highlights banner (left-side) with included links. The interesting observations are presented in figure 1 within the digital image carousel (right-side). From the bottom of the page you can find interesting satellite observations from previous years. All these highlighted observations on the What’s up page are intended for beneficial use in accordance with the open data usage license, provided that they include copyright information and texts: License information.

In the What’s up page of Tarkka it is possible to scroll through five different, current observations. The scrolling happens by clicking the arrows on the side of the pictures (
= previous
= next) or by the dots under the picture (
). By clicking the title of the picture in question the observation opens in the EO map viewer for further studying.

Blue-green algae barometers of the Baltic Sea
Algae barometers describe how algae conditions develop across different Baltic Sea regions during the summer. They are updated regularly from June to September.
